This project reframes a dated facade and compact powder room through a lens of material clarity and restraint. The updated exterior grounds the home’s silhouette with a new charred Shou Sugi Ban rainscreen and HVAC screening.

Inside, the powder room is reimagined as a quiet moment—textural and sculptural—offering contrast to the openness of the rest of the home. Careful attention to lighting and material transitions gives the space a sense of calm and permanence, despite its small footprint.
